The White Stripes vs The US Air Force
The superbowl in America is the biggest television event in the world. Advertisers pay multi millions to get a 30 second spot on during the coverage of the game. The US Air Force Reserves were able to score a spot of advertising during the New Orleans/Indiannapolis game. Whoever, they didn’t count on one Mr Jack White of The White Stripes (and many other bands) watching. It seems Jack didn’t take to the US Air Force ripping off one his songs in the commercial.
The site then shows the ad in question and a mp3 of the track “Fell In Love With A Girl” taking from the ‘White Blood Cells’ album. Take a listen and hear for yourself the similarities.
It will be interesting to see what this “strong action” will be.
