My Chemical Romance pull out of Soundwave
In what is a major blow last minute, My Chemical Romance have had to pull out of this months Soundwaves and cancel all subsequent sideshows.
Frontman Gerald Way has been advised by doctors to give his voice a rest or risk causing some serious long term damage.
“We are really sorry that we’ve had to cancel this tour, and apologise for any inconvenience it has caused,” says singer Way. “The last thing we ever want to do is cancel shows, but we’ll be back to Australia to make it up to the fans as soon as possible.”
While this news may leave a thousand of emo’s in tears, the Soundwave organisers have found a last minute, suitable replacement in Jimmy Eat World. Taking a break from their recording schedule, the band will fill the spot left by My Chemical Romance.
All ticket holders to My Chemical Romance Sidewave sideshows can obtain full refunds. Head over to the Soundwave website for revised timetables.
