More Garage Days for Metallica
Rehashing old ideas is what todays music industry is based on. And in a current age where bands play old fave albums in full, on stage. Or even simply get back together for another tour/album.
Metallica have taken that idea and decided to release another version of their popular covers album Garage Inc. Originally they started with a covers EP Garage Days Revisited back in the bands early days and it became a rarity for fans all over the world. Then they released a full album of covers and now we get another version, this time a six-LP deluxe vinyl set. Why? (besides the money grab) only Metallica and their record label would know. However it will be available as of March 1.
Tracklisting:
01. Free Speech for the Dumb (Discharge)
02. It’s Electric (Diamond Head)
03. Sabbra Cadabra (Black Sabbath)
04. Turn the Page (Bob Seger)
05. Die Die My Darling (Misfits)
06. Loverman (Nick Cave)
07. Mercyful Fate (medley) (Mercyful Fate)
08. Astronomy (Blue Oyster Cult)
09. Whiskey in the Jar (Thin Lizzy)
10. Tuesday’s Gone (Lynyrd Skynyrd)
11. The More I See (Discharge)
12. Helpless (Diamond Head)
13. The Small Hours (Holocaust)
14. The Wait (Killing Joke)
15. Crash Course in Brain Surgery (Budgie)
16. Last Caress/Green Hell (Misfits)
17. Am I Evil? (Diamond Head)
18. Blitzkrieg (Blitzkrieg)
19. Breadfan (Budgie)
20. The Prince (Diamond Head)
21. Stone Cold Crazy (Queen)
22. So What? (Anti-Nowhere League)
23. Killing Time (Sweet Savage)
24. Overkill (Motörhead)
25. Damage Case (Motörhead)
26. Stone Dead Forever (Motörhead)
27. Too Late Too Late (Motörhead)
And if thats not enough Metallica for you, in April they’ll re-release S&M.
