Mission Statement

Hi.
So basically my aim here is to review albums. Primary albums I like and own. It will vary from acoustic folk to punk rock to ska to metal to alternative to 80's classics and a bit from everything in between. It will be overly opinionated and biased. But what review isn't.
I'll even throw in some live gig reviews, Music DVD and video clip reviews where I see fit. To go through my entire catalogue of some 500 albums may take a very very long time!
For me, it's a bit of practicein writing. I've called myself a writer for a long time but have never really pursued it. That will change in 2009 as I try to make a secondary income from writing. Wether it's through orble or freelance or any other methods. Feel free to get in touch if like my style and want to give me a job.
Soon I'll start some posts of reviews. There's a couple in the works as we speak. I appreciate any feedback or comments you may have. About the title of the blog. It's based on one of my favourtie movie lines which comes from ClintEastwood in a Dirty Harry movie.The line is "opinions are like assholes, everyone's got one". And in my opinion most peoples are usually full of shit. Am I any different? Hell no! But I'm an opinion bastard anyway so it all works oout for the best.
So I hope you like and hate my reviews. Maybe it'll encourage you to check out some new tunes. That'll be cool. Or maybe it might reinforce your reasons for only listening to Justin Timerlake, I don't know. But hopefully it may be entertaining. If not, I suck at what I do.
