Brujeria left for diviner pastures
Ex-Fear Factory guitarist Dino Cazares said that after being dumped by the metal band in 2002, he channelled all his energy into Brujeria, a grindcore band. When this proved unsatisfying, Dino the mini-Dinosaur started Divine Heresy, a band on the brink of a record release.
Given the benefit of the doubt, this band could take off if the boy stops being so bitter about Fear Factory firing him five years ago.
"Judging by the last Fear Factory record, a lot of people now understand that I was the driving force behind that band. I think when people hear Divine Heresy they'll hear who was the main and chief songwriter of the band; who was the energy and soul of the machine."
But wait, he contradicts himself:
"I believe if he (Christian Olde Wolbers, Fear factory guitarist) keeps mimicking my style, Fear Factory can be successful again....They tried to experiment; they looked like they tried to get away from the Dino element. And I think if they keep going with the Dino element it could be successful."
Basically, they can be a hit, but only if they continue to follow in his footsteps. WTF? Cazares is starting to sound like a certain cry baby, Dave Mustaine of Megadeth mourning his depature from Metallica.
Besides, Cazares can't complain that much, Fear Factory hasn't remotely reached Metallica's status. I always thought FF were a bit on the bland side anyway.
