Picture Book Facts
A book filled with huge text and lots of pictures claimed that Led Zepplin found their name after Keith Moon, drummer of the Who, said:
"They would go down like a lead zeppelin"
Referring, of course, to the ill-fated German air-ships. It doesn't explain the misspelling that the band used later on. But who cares, it's bloody excellent music.
This tome filled with knowledge doesn't stop spurting there,
"Thrash metal is played almost excessively fast. Death metal, whose performers include Brazilian band Sepultura, is obsessed with dying, skulls, skeletons, coffins and graveyards. No doubt other exciting energetic 'metals' will appear in future years."
Is this the rubbish our children and teens are reading nowadays?
